1.    How can I download and purchase the mobileyardage gps app?

The mobileyardage gps app can be purchased through the iPhone 3G app store. 

2.    How much does it cost?

The mobileyardage gps app is free and includes one course from our library of over 10,000 courses.

3.    Are there recurring fees or subscription costs?

No.  This is a one time purchase.  You only pay for the courses you want to download.

4.    How do I purchase individual courses?

The app has integrated purchasing.  Individual courses can be purchased directly within the app.  Simply touch the "purchase" icon and you can search, buy and immediately download a course.

5.    How much do individual courses cost?

Standard 18 hole courses, which include GPS data but no graphics sell for $1.99.  Premium courses, which include GPS data and stunning Accurate 3D graphics by Best Approach, sell for $2.99.  Standard 9 hole courses sell for $0.99 and Premium 9 hole courses sell for $1.49.

6.    What is the difference between a standard course and a premium course?

Standard courses include GPS data, hazards, shot marking, and all the application features except for individual hole graphics.  Premium courses include stunning individual hole graphics created by Best Approach, the world's leading golf graphics company.

7.    Is there a limit to the number of courses I can purchase?

No.  There is no limit. 

8.    How do I view yardage distances to hazards?

To hide the hazards simply touch the icon again.

9.    How do I mark a shot?

To mark a shot, simply touch the "mark shot" icon.		The app will start tracking the distance to your ball.  To remove
the marker, touch the icon again.

10.  How accurate is mobileyardage gps?

Based on extensive testing, we believe mobileyardage GPS to be accurate to within 1-4 yards.

11.  Why do the yardage numbers change when I am standing still?

This is common to all GPS devices including golf cart mounted GPS units.  This is commonly called "drift" and is typically caused by weather conditions, satellite visibility, buildings etc.

12.  My course is not listed, what can I do?

We are constantly adding courses based on analysis of customer feedback and requests.  Iif a course is searched or requested often enough, we will add it to our database.  We are also adding new courses on spec every week.
